Lentic

Logo LENTICFounded in 1986, the Laboratory for the Study of New Technologies for Information, Innovation and Change (LENTIC) is a center of research and intervention at the University of Liege, based on processes of organisational innovation. The interdisciplinary team is made up of a dozen researchers, including sociologists, legal experts, economists, educators, engineers, psychologists and specialists in management science and communication. The center is directed by Francois Pichault, doctor of sociology, professor at the University of Liege and director of research at HEC, the school of management at the University of Liege.

Lentic’s work proceeds along four paths: research, assistance, evaluation and training. The laboratory works on projects supported by public funds and also on projects for which private companies, in an effort to establish policies related to human resource management or to improve the social dialogue that is carried on within their companies, provide direct support. The researchers cover four fields of action: information technology, communication in the job market, organisational change and developments in human resource management.
